I started my journal in 2001 after a rough breakup with an ex-boyfriend. And years later, I'm still going! This journal covers my years in college, my experiences on the dance team, the nice guys and the major assholes I dated, the worst job I ever had, my amazing study abroad trip to Paris, France, and finally my marriage to Bo and the birth of my child, Julian.

Claims to Fame:
I was cast in a rap video. Yes, I was a rap video ho.
I've dated a professional male stripper, a professional comedian and a local rock star. And I feel cool when I say that.
I've been on ESPN performing with my old dance team.
I have always been obsessed with being a performer. Comedienne, dancer, singer, whatever. It didn't matter. So when I was about 13 the show Barney and Friends came out. Well, I decided that being on that show could be my ticket to fame and fortune. Of course, I would eventually leave the show to pursue a Broadway career. So I tried to call the broadcasting company and even a cast member to try to find out how to join the show. They were like, "Um, you're only 13? We're a COLLEGE for radio broadcasting. Call us in like 6 years."

Random stuff about me:
I love lumpy food. Mashed potatoes must have lumps, ice cream cannot be smooth, it must have chips or sprinkles. I make chocolate pudding lumpy on purpose.

Almost every time I get bad service somewhere I feel compelled to write a letter. And most of the time I actually send them. For awhile this extended to people that made me mad too. I wrote one to my ex, and one to my mom.

I know tons of 80's TV Theme Songs but can't sing a single Xmas song all the way through.

I once picked out my future children's names by flipping through my french dictionary and randomly pointing to words.

When I'm feeling lazy and take the elevator up one floor anywhere and there's someone else on it, I limp off so they don't think I'm just lazy.

I have a knack for memorizing excessively long numbers. I have tons of phone numbers, passwords and all my account numbers (about 5 total) memorized. I even have my 14-digit library barcode number memorized.

I wanted to be a nun after watching Sister Act when I was younger and even bought a nun costume and wore it at home. I learned all the Sister Act songs and read up on Catholicism. I was a nun for 4 years straight after that for Halloween. An old nun, a young nun, a pregnant nun and a slutty nun. I was about 6 different kinds of clowns for the years before that. So basically for Halloween I've only ever been a clown or a nun. Oh, once I was a cavewoman.

I love the smell of books. Particularly new ones.

I used to want to get abducted by aliens.
